As we approach Veterans Day, we remember the sacrifices of those who defended this country and our liberties. Attending parades and ceremonies offer a chance for us to show our gratitude to those who served.
This is especially important for those service members who were part of the Greatest Generation. Every year, there are fewer and fewer WWII veterans and our society risks forgetting about an important chapter in our nation’s and the world’s history.
Men and women volunteered to go to Europe and Asia to fight the greatest evil our world had ever seen.
Thankfully, people realized the importance of capturing the memories of our WWII soldiers so they can be shared with future generations. It is my pleasure to share with you the story of a colleague’s father who served in WWII. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I did.
Thank you to all who served. Happy Veteran’s Day.
